20.02.2011 Moscow -> Dubai -> Sydney
12.03.2011 Sydney -> Dubai -> Moscow

Самое интересное, что перелет Sydney -> Dubai будет на самом современном и самом большом авиалайнере в мире Airbus A380. На данный момент самый безопасный из используемых самолетов, ни разу не побывавший в катастрофах.

Review: Burnt by the Sun 2

Notice: Dear reader, as you probably know I'm still studying English. So, this review is probably full of mistakes :) I have no background in writing review for any kind of art. Everything, what you can find below is just my personal opinion.

On 20th of April I had a great chance to see the newest movie about the Second WW by Nikita Mikhalkov "Burnt by the Sun 2". Unfortunately, I had to leave the show 20 minutes before the end.
The movie is consists of 2 feature-length series: beginning (sorry, I can't translate Russian word Predstoyanie into English ;) and Citadel. Nikita Mikhalkov says that this movie was shot as a competitor to famous American movie "Saving private Ryan".
The movie's plot has 2 main lines. First line takes place in 1941 and describes acts of bravery by courageous ex-prisoner Kotov. Kotov was a political prisoner and had to be killed on the first days of the war, but somebody had chaned the article chares from political to financial fraud article just before deathly execution. So, Kotov avoided death and became an army volonteer. Then the line shows to the spectators how Kotov made a good impressions in several major bouts.
The second line takes place in 1943 and shows us the story about Checka officer Arsentiev. In 1941 he arrested Kotov by political reason, and everybody thought that Kotov died in 1941 but for Stalin. So, Stalin asked Arsentiev to find Kotov and pass a notebook to him. Arsentiev tried to follow every step of Kotov and find any relevant information of Kotov's actions.
Also the movie describes life and actions of Kotov's family: wife and daughter. Officer Arsentiev made false documents about their death and called them as his wife and daughter to save their lives.
Comparing to the "Burnt by the Sun" this movie is so different. It's not a movie about war or about war invalids or participants. It's an attempt to show the spectators the war from the different point of view.
Comparing to the "Saving private Ryan" this movie isn't so "actionfull" and doesn't make such psichological effect to the spectators.
The movie doesn't have a lot of visual effects. The most spectacular scene was the bridge explosion, but the director didn't use any calculation or something else. They just built the real bridge and thet made a real explosion :)
In conclusion, actually I can't made any recommendations for foreigners due to huge cultural differences. For the Russians I can recommend to see the movie, but if you can choose something like "Saving private Ryan" it's better to choose the second option. So, it's a good movie to see it on TV screen at home.

Henry Ford was born in the MI, USA in 1863. He was a crazy good engineer, one of founders car industry in the USA.

Henry left school when he was 15. He became an engineer assistant in Detroit. In 1891 Ford made his first self-moved vehicle. A few next years he was improving his engine. In 1893 Henry became to a Chief Engineer of Detroit Car Company. Then he set up Ford Motor Company, which was being supported by Henry reputation as a constructor of high-speed cars.

The best Ford car was model "T". Model "T" turned around many concepts of car making. Henry made model "T" like an artist. He cut essential parts to make a cheap and reliable car. And he won. The Ford Motor Company made more than 15 million of model "T". Mass production was required deployment of production line on factories. And Ford Motor Company was the first company, which invented production line.

Besides engineering Ford was crazy about diet and liked American culture. During World War Ford convinced for making Peace over the world, but actively participated in selling war things.

Although Ford was a writer. He tried to prove that wishes of employers and wishes of employees are equal. The most popular book by Henry Ford is "My Life and Work" which consists many concepts and innovations about work organisation.

Circles on fields

I haven't ever seen any mysterious phenomea. And I want to retell a film from Dicovery Channel about circles on fields.

It was in late 20th century. Strange circles appeared on fields in different regions of England. Scientists from different parts of the world discussed these circles. And nobody could explain who has made circles and why.

Later a journalist from a famous newspaper took a video which showed us the process of appearing the circle. And a small white ball was flying around a field. This video was shown on all world-know TV channels. But scientists thought this video was a very good joke or fake. And they could find some evidence to prove that this video was a fake.

First, a camera didn't follow the small white ball and this was very strange, because journalists usually try to take whole phenomea.
Second, when scientists saw a video frame by frame on high-resolution display they determined that different frames were shot in differnet places. And this video was made using computer technologies.

Then the film demonstrated to us how 4 guys made a big circle on a field. They worked very quickly and had completed their work by the morning.

This film give us an example which decribe foundation of many strange things.
